Hello!-- We are looking forward to seeing everyone in August for a fun afternoon at the Hidden Villa wilderness preserve/organic farm. We hope you will enjoy the venue's typically Californian ambiance; known more commonly for its shaded hiking trails, organic garden, and many animals.

We have loved living in the San Francisco Bay Area partly due to the confluence of interesting geography, ideal climate, and culture. Together, we've been fortunate to experience the area's natural wonders... and even during these busy days of wedding planning, still manage to benefit from it via our evening runs. Recollecting, it seems we have bonded through such activities, having begun our relationship in and around the icy waters of the bay when one or the other was training for a triathlon. Looking back, we're not quite sure how romantic that was. Our first date did entail some outdoor adventure, although the actual demarcation is still being debated. Kim thinks it was the time she invited Brian (along with a couple other friends) on a sailing trip to Angel Island and conveniently, Brian was the only one who could join her! Brian thinks it was the week prior when he filled in as her biking partner up Old La Honda to Skyline Ridge. Clearlly, Kim is less likely to concede that a sweaty bike ride constitutes a first date!

Since those days, we've moved from land to water. The ocean has always appealed to the both of us, and we find ourselves more compelled toward aquatic activity. So Kim has attempted to teach Brian how to sail, and Brian has begun to trust that Kim will not capsize the boat. We’ve also tried our hand at windsurfing, a compromise between Kim’s love of sailing and Brian’s attempts at surfing. We are now looking forward to our honeymoon in the Cook Islands of the South Pacific where we shall see nothing but ocean and lagoon, day after day. At last, we'll have a chance to snorkel and dive into waters much warmer than the SF Bay!

But first with your help, we have a wedding to celebrate. We are excited to share this day with you and hope you will enjoy it too!
